PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the problem that, in a conventional radiant tube burner system to utilize exhaust gas recirculation and multistage combustion for reducing occurrence of NOx, there is a need for equipment, such as a feed pipe and a blower to re-circulate exhaust gas and complicated structure to stepwisly mix fuel or air. SOLUTION: A feed means 9 for air or oxygen is constituted on the exhaust end side 10 of a radiant tube 1 having one end side where a burner 2 is situated. The burner is caused to effect combustion in a low air ratio and air or fuel is fed to the internal part on the exhaust end side of the radiant tube by the feed means and an unburnt content in exhaust gas flowing through the tube is completely burnt. The above low NOx radiant tube burner system is provided. The system is also applicable to a regenerative radiant tube burner system.
