chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of synthesis of chloroform by liquid-phase chlorination of methylene chloride at photochemical initiation followed by rectification. Method involves chlorination of mixture of chloromethanes obtained by thermic chlorination of methane after removal of chloromethyl from its in the mole ratio methylene chloride to chlorine = 4 -(2:1) at 35-45 C. Mixture of chloromethanes has 50-99% of methylene chloride, 45% C1-chlorohydrocarbons and up to 2.5% of C2-chlorohydrocarbons. EFFECT: improved quality of chloroform synthesized. 1 tbl |
