PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input display device capable of efficiently selecting a conversion candidate word corresponding to an inputted KANA (Japanese syllabary) string without fail in KANA/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion. SOLUTION: In the case of displaying a homonym conversion candidate corresponding to KANA inputted by an input part 2, when there is a conversion candidate containing a common character string, that character is extracted, display is relocated by sorting the conversion candidates with the extracted character so that the conversion candidates containing the common character string can be adjacent, and further, in order to make clear differences in the characters of conversion candidates, characters except for a common KANJI string are displayed in a display style such as expanded display different from the display style of common characters. |
