PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the data even when a disk drive is replaced with another in a state where the data such as the music data whose copyright should be protected are stored in a hard disk. SOLUTION: An individual authentication parameter is converted and recorded in an initialization mode of a disk control area and then changed into its original one when a power supply is applied or in a disk access mode and the authentication is carried out by the original parameter. A file access parameter of a file entry is converted and recorded and then undergoes the inverse conversion in a file access mode. A block transfer parameter is converted and recorded in a flash random access memory RAM and the data are rearranged when they are transferred in every block according to this parameter. An intra-block transfer parameter is recorded in a dynamic random access memory DRAM and the data are rearranged according to this parameter when these data are transferred within the blocks. Thus, the data cannot be duplicated when a hard disk drive HDD is replaced with another and the copyright can be protected for the data which are stored in the HDD. |
