PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type liquid crystal device which prevents display quality deterioration caused by flicker, cross-talk, or the like and is also easy to assemble. SOLUTION: A counter substrate is larger than an element substrate, and a potential is applied to the counter substrate on the swelled-out parts. Cross- talk and display unevenness are improved by reducing these swelled-out parts in resistance and uniforming a potential distribution on the counter electrode. |
