PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for plural hydraulic cylinders capable of smoothly switching plural hydraulic cylinders from the push side to the pull side, or from the pull side to the push side as they are installed in such a way that plural dead points are not overlapped with each other, and that plural pushes and plural pulls are overlapped with each other at deflected phases, and preventing generation of impact at the time of above switching. SOLUTION: In this control method for hydraulic cylinders in a device to reciprocate piston rods 7 by plural hydraulic cylinders 4a, 4b,..., each hydraulic cylinder is driven for the push or pull till the piston rod 7 gets close to the dead point, it is moved by force of the other hydraulic cylinders after it reaches the dead point and before it gets out of the dead point, and it is driven in the opposite direction after it gets out of the dead point. |
