PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute a discount processing in accordance with a discount amount with respect to a transaction total amount and the use limit number of coupons at the time of executing the discount processing through the use of the coupon and to smoothly and precisely execute the discount processing when the coupon is used. SOLUTION: A sales management device executing a sales processing has a coupon ticket discount information storage part 3 storing the arbitrary discount amount/number of coupons and the use limit number of coupons with respect to the ranges of transaction total amounts, which are divided into plural stages, paying amount calculation means 1 and 2 retrieving the discount amount/ number of coupons in the range of the transaction total amount, which corresponds to the sales total amount, and the use limit number of coupons from the coupon discount information storage part when the sales total amount with respect to one transaction is inputted, calculating the discount amount based on the number of inputted coupons, the use limit number of coupons and the discount amount/number of retrieved coupons, subtracting the calculated discount amount from the sales total amount and calculating the paying amount and a display means 7 displaying various pieces of data.
