PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of stably forming an image by suppressing or preventing the deviation of a belt caused by the distortion of the main body. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device with photoreceptor drums (image carriers) 11a to 11d and an endless intermediate transfer belt (belt body) 31 which is laid across in a tensioned condition between plural rollers 32, 33 and 34, an outer roller 80 for stretching the intermediate transfer belt 3 is installed outside the belt 31 on the upstream side of the driving roller (upstream roller) 33 which is positioned on the upstream side in the belt moving direction of the rollers 32 and 33 for forming the surface facing the photoreceptor drums 11a to 11d.
