SUBSTRATE FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a substrate for photographic printing paper using a paper base continuously produced with reduced trouble points and excellent in high- speed workability in coating with a polyolefin resin and giving rolled photographic printing paper having improved suitability to a processing machine, that is, suitability to cutting and conveyance and also having good image quality and good suitability to the infiltration of a developing solution. SOLUTION: Both faces of a paper base containing an amphoteric polyacrylamide copolymer having >0.0 to +15.7 meq/g cationic strength at pH 7.0 are coated with a polyolefin resin to obtain the objective substrate for photographic printing paper.
