<p>Process of fabricating hollow bead rings for the beads of pneumatic tires, said hollow bead rings having a radial cross-section with at least one interior partition which connects together two portions of the outer contour, is improved by using the following operations: (a) extruding, by means of an extruder whose orifice is equipped with a single mandrel, a hollow member whose interior partition is connected to a single one of said portions, the other end of the interior partition being free, and (b) deforming, in one or more steps, the radial cross-section of the hollow member until the free end of the interior partition comes into contact with the other portion of the outer contour.</p> |
