An electro-hydraulic steering gear is described of a vehicle with at least one steerable wheel (39,40), one hydraulic adjusting device (18-21), one electronic control device (1-3) and a number of sensors (6-14) for the detection of one or more variable parameters, in accordance with which the electronic control device adjusts the angle of lock of the steerable wheel(s) via the hydraulic adjusting device. A majority discriminator (4,5) is assigned to the hydraulic adjusting device(s) which makes a control of the hydraulic adjusting device by the electronic control device dependent on whether signals going out from the sensors correspond to one another essentially by a majority. The number of the sensors that detect a variable parameter is an uneven number.
