At least the upper section of the wing of the motor vehicle, with pressing down of the bonnet(3), is mounted to move in a sideways direction pointing away from the bonnet and/or downwards. The bonnet is designed to be resilient in the vertical direction when under load. The connection of the upper section of the wing to the body part(6) has a ramp(8) guided at an angle under a side edge(11) of the bonnet which slides along the ramp when the bonnet is pressed down.
