The invention relates to the connection of a rod having a bent end within a flat element having an opening through which the rod passes. To prevent the rod coming away from the flat element there is disclosed a stud designed for snap fit engagement in the opening of the flat element and having wings which define a bent channel for receiving the bent end of the rod.
