The device consists of a clamping hook and a tool palette. The palette has a stop. The nose (4) of the clamping hook (1) engages with a side on the stop, when clamping the work piece, and after the hook has been turned in peripheral direction. The stop is formed by a peg, positioned so that the nose is directed towards the work piece. A cylindrical section (2) of the hook moves vertically in a housing (8) fastened to the tool palette.
