The shears have a fixed blade (4) supported on a holder end piece (5) and a moving blade (3) operated by the piston (2) of a pneumatic cylinder (1). A control valve supplies compressed air to the cylinder. The rod (8) of the piston is pushed to close the shears and pushed to open the shears.
