PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device which does not consume the electric power for displaying whether the device is in an energy saving state or not. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a state display changing means, in which the surface of a sliding plate is constituted of an energy saving state display area where a display meaning an energy saving state is described and an normal state display area where a display meaning an normal state is described and also the device is provided with the sliding plate arranged movably at the lower plane of the through hole provided on the front surface of the device and a state display changing means which moves the plate to a position where the normal state display area is exposed at the through hole when the device is in normal state and moves the plate to a position where the energy saving state display area is exposed at the through hole when the device is in the energy saving state.
