The invention relates to a device for contactlessly inserting an electronic chip-type label into an object of any kind and of any shape, and to methods for using said device to that end. The inventive device is portable and is configured in the form of a case or a manual tool. The invention is suitable for use in the area of contactless identification and authentication by electronic chip.
