<p>There is a golfing aid for enabling a user to remotely tee up a ball without bending over. The golfing aid in an upright position of use including a shaft (1) having at a lower end a basket (2, 2A, 2B) with a plunger (3) for releasibly holding a ball (7) together with a tee (8). The tee (8) is in a point down vertical orientation for insertion into the ground with the ball (7) set on it. The plunger (3) is operable from the opposite upper end of the shaft (1) by means of a thumb plate (5) and spring (4) to subsequently release the ball (7) and tee (8) from the basket for a golf drive. The shaft (1) is of sufficient length to enable operation of the golfing aid from a stand-up position and the basket includes a ball carrying cavity (1A) so that the golf aid can also be used as a scoop to retrieve a ball without bending over.</p> |
