The heat exchanger system utilizes the waste heat generated by the power semiconductors (11) for controlling the electric motor of the hybrid drive, via a circulated cooling fluid fed to a heating heat exchanger (2). The IC engine (1) of the hybrid drive has a mechanical circulation pump (9) incorporated in the engine cooling circuit, which is coupled to the semiconductor cooling circuit (10) for utilizing a common cooling medium, e.g. water or a water/glycol mixture, with an electric circulation pump (12) in the latter cooling circuit.
