A procedure for the delivery of a fine-grained supply material from a pneumatic supply line has the fine-grained supply material, suspended by means of a pneumatic feed in a supply gas, transported in the pneumatic supply line to a section found at the end of the pneumatic supply line out of whose outlet the fine-grained supply material is delivered. In the section found at the end of the pneumatic supply line, the flow cross-sectional area of the suspension of the fine-grained supply material in the supply gas is increased so that the flow speed of the suspension is reduced to a value where the fine-grained supply material is not supplied pneumatically. The flow of the suspension is deflected so that the flow axis in the entry cross-section of the section does not cut the cross-section of the outlet of the section.
