The present invention relates to an arrangement in a desk arranged to be used for computer and terminal work in particular. The desk comprises a vertically adjustable frame (3, 6) to which at least two worktops (7, 12) movable in relation to one another are arranged. The arrangement of the invention is characterized in that the frame of the desk comprises supporting means (6) to allow the vertical movement of a central module (2) parallel with the desk. In the arrangement of the invention the worktops are arranged on the opposite sides of the central module so that the central module includes means for separately adjusting the position of each worktop attached thereto substantially in the horizontal and vertical plane.
