The invention relates to a portable computer comprising a housing (4), a keyboard (6) which is situated in said housing (4) and a flat screen (8) which is pivotably connected to the housing (4). In a first pivoted position, the front side of the flat screen (8) is oriented towards the keyboard (6). The aim of the invention is to improve and configure a known portable computer according to the prior art and a corresponding connecting station in such a way as to improve the functionality and ergonomy of the portable computer during its use as a stationary computer. To this end, in a second pivoted position, the front side of the flat screen (8) is oriented away from the keyboard (6). The invention also relates to a connecting station for the inventive portable computer which has receiving means (32) for receiving the portable computer (2) in such a way that the flat screen (8) is outwardly visible. |
