Lost formwork elements for casting concrete, comprising at least one base element (10) and an elevation element (20) which are joined to each other, forming an angle, along two respective longitudinal edges, in addition to at least one connecting element (40) forming a tie in order to join the inner surfaces of the base element and the elevation element to each other. The base element is a single piece, comprising a first connection part (12) along a first longitudinal edge and at least one rib (17, 18, 19) formed on the inner surface thereof, and the elevation element (20) is also formed as a single piece comprising a connection part (22) which is complementary to the first connection part of the base element along a first longitudinal edge, in addition to at least one rib (27, 28, 29) formed on the inner surface thereof. An additional elevation element (30) can also be provided, having an outer surface as an elevation element (20) which has a finished aspect to it. Said formwork elements are particularly suitable for use as lost formwork elements for the nose sections of balconies.
