Wheat dp proteins and uses thereof

A method of controlling plant cell cycle is provided characterised in that it comprises increasing or decreasing E2F-dimerization partner (DP) protein activity in a plant cell through expression of a recombinant DP peptide or protein in that cell. Further provided is use of such proteins in identifying genes involved in cell cycle control.
