<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compounded material useful as a building material such as high-performance concrete, a joint sealant, a bonding compound, a substitutable backing board or a panel, comprising a hardenable calcium sulfate, preferably hemihydrate, Portland cement, fine divided pozzolan material, lime, solidification body and other additives as an option. SOLUTION: This compounded material comprises (a) a cementum material composed of (1) about 25-80 wt.% of hardenable calcium sulfate, (2) about 10-60 wt.% of Portland cement, (3) about 0-40 wt.% of finely divided pozzolan material at its maximum and (4) <5 wt.% of Ca(OH)a and (b) a solidification body in a volume ratio to the cementum material of at least about 2/1. A panel made of the compounded material shows excellent dimensional stability and is useful especially when exposed to water.</p> |
