PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely supply a sealing liquid to discharge openings. SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording apparatus 10 has a discharge face 20 where discharge openings for discharging ink are formed, a blade 22 formed of an elastic material, a moving means 26 for moving the blade 22 to pass over the discharge openings in touch with the discharge face 20, projections 16 each having at least one end arranged to the upstream side in a movement direction of the blade 22 from the discharge opening, and a supplying means 24 for supplying a sealing liquid to the upstream side in the movement direction of the blade 22 from the projections 16. |
