NON-CONJUGATED CYCLIC POLYENE-BASED COPOLYMER, RUBBER COMPOSITION AND USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire tread and a tire which have both an excellent braking property and an excellent fuel cost performance. SOLUTION: This tire is provided with a tire tread comprising a vulcanizable rubber composition which comprises (A) a non-conjugated cyclic polyene-based copolymer and (B) a dienic rubber in a (A)/(B) weight ratio of 60/40 to 0.1/99.9. The non-conjugated cyclic polyene-based copolymer (A) has structural units originating from (A1) anα-olefin in an amount of 93 to 70 mol.% and structural units originated from (A2) a non-conjugated cyclic polyene in an amount of 7 to 30 mol.%, and has an intrinsic viscosity [η] of 0.01 to 20 dl/g measured in decalin at 135 deg.C, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of <=40 deg.C and an iodine value of 50 to 150.
