PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for external skin use capable of greatly improving percutaneous absorption of the medicinally active ingredient. SOLUTION: This preparation for external skin use contains creatinine or creatine and percutaneous absorption accelerator. A percutaneous absorption of various medicinally active ingredients is remarkably enhanced by formulating creatine or creatinine together with the percutaneous absorption accelerator in a composition of the preparation for external skin use, compared with a single preparation of the percutaneous absorber alone.
