PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing harmful impurities in fine aggregate without requiring a specific admixture, and capable of removing the harmful impurities such as a mud component even though a simple method. SOLUTION: A container 1 is charged with the fine aggregate and mixing water, and the aggregate and the water is mixed by mixing and stirring the interior of the container 1. The mixed product is stood still, and the concentration of the harmful ion, and the turbidity of the resultant supernatant are measured. If the result of the measurement exceeds a standard value, the mixing water is discharged and further prescribed amount of the mixing water is charged thereto. The before steps are repeated, and when the result of the measurement becomes lower than the standard value, the supernatant is discharged and a compacted mixture of the fine aggregate and simultaneously the water is taken out from the bottom part of the container 1.
