<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club the mass of which is adjusted by putting a weight into a hosel of a club head wherein the range of mass adjustment by means of the weight is wide, and bottle sounds, due to the weight, are prevented from being produced when the club is swung. SOLUTION: This golf club includes a club head 2 wherein a shaft insertion hole 10 is formed in a hosel 8 and a weight insertion hole 12 having an inner diameter smaller than that of the shaft insertion hole 10 is formed below the hole 10, a weight 4 comprising a large diameter part 14 the outer diameter of which is smaller than the inner diameter of the hole 10 and larger than the inner diameter of the hole 12 and a small diameter part 16 the outer diameter of which is smaller than the inner diameter of the hole 12, the part 14 and the part 16 being formed side by side, and a shaft 6. The part 14 is inserted into the hole 10 and the part 16 is inserted into the hole 12 so that the weight 4 is fixed in the hosel 8, while the top end surface of the part 14 of the weight 4 is brought into contact with the forward end of the shaft 6 so that the shaft 6 is fixed in the hosel 8.</p> |
