PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaking separator for improving distribution of unseparated grains and foreign matter released onto a shaking flow plate from a discharge port of second return cylinder. SOLUTION: This shaking separator is used for a thresher C equipped with a shaking separatory device 40 set in a air separating passage 47 formed below a threshing chamber 36, a first trough 24 and a second trough 28 horizontally laid under the shaking separatory device 40, and a second return cylinder 30, wherein the unseparated grains and foreign matter are lifted and transferred by the second trough 28 and the second return cylinder 30, and released from the discharge port 31 of the second return cylinder 30 towards the front end side of the shaking separatory device 40. The shaking separatory device 40 includes a shaking flow plate 18 at the front end, and a chaff sieve 19 at the rear of the shaking flow plate 18 on which a middle partition plate 50 is placed to receive the unseparated grains and foreign matter released. The rear section of the middle partition plate 50 is extended to the front end of the chaff sieve 19 to almost equally distribute the unseparated grains and foreign matter, released to the rear side of the shaking flow plate 18, onto the shaking flow plate 18.
