PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectual training toy contributing to the intellectual training improvement of pattern recognition more than before. SOLUTION: This intellectual training toy comprises coupling pieces formed into optional shapes and base plates bored with through holes to be inserted with the coupling pieces. A plurality of base plates are stacked without blocking the through holes, and the coupling pieces are stacked to the thickness equal to or larger than the thickness of the stacked base plates.
