PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing fine carbon fiber by vapor growth which can continuously produce fine carbon fiber by vapor growth for a long term without causing clogging accidents in the core tube of a furnace, to provide an antisticking apparatus for fine carbon fiber by vapor growth and to provide fine carbon fiber by vapor growth which is produced by the same producing apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing fine carbon fiber by vapor growth is constituted by inserting and installing a discharge tube within the core tube of a furnace in such a way that the opening of the discharge tube is placed facing an opening at the tip of a raw material gas-feeding nozzle located at the one end of the core tube of a furnace. The method for producing the fine carbon fiber by vapor growth, especially carbon nanofiber and/or carbon nanotubes is to use the above apparatus. The antisticking apparatus for fine carbon fiber by vapor growth has a device for preventing the adhesion of carbonaceous matter such as fine carbon fiber by vapor growth in the inside wall of the core tube of a furnace. The fine carbon fiber by vapor growth is produced by using the above producing apparatus. |
