PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide roller device capable of improving the quality of a sheet-shaped supporting body. SOLUTION: This guide roller device 1 conveys a sheet-shaped supporting body. Rubber sheets 1 are used on parts kept into contact with both side parts of the sheet-shaped supporting body 2. A dynamic frictional coefficient of the rubber sheets 3 to the sheet-shaped supporting body 2 is preferably above 0.4. The rubber sheets 3 are placed in recessed grooves formed on the guide roller device 1. The depth of the grooves is preferably equal to or less than the total thickness of the rubber sheet 3. The guide roller device 1 for conveying the sheet-shaped supporting body 2 can be applied to, for example, a magnetic tape manufacturing device.
