PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discoloration and corrosion of a dumbbell for a long period of time by utilizing the physical and chemical stability of noble metals and resins and to change loads of the dumbbell without changing the whole size and shape thereof by changing the weight ratio between the noble metals and resins to cover the deficiency of loads due to the use of resins. SOLUTION: This dumbbell consists of a holding part and loading parts provided adjacently to the opposed sides of the holding part, respectively, and the major portion of the holding part and loading parts is composed of a noble metal such as silver, while the remainder is composed of a resin such as an acrylic resin.
