PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stay capable of easily rotating a door from an open position to a closed-position side. SOLUTION: When a door D is turned from an open position to a releasing position, rotation in the direction of the arrow X of the first arm 13 is prevented by a retaining plate 11b. A connecting fitting 18 is fixed onto the door D, and a guide hole section 19 composed of the first hole section 19A and the second hole section 19b is formed in the connecting fitting 18. A shaft 17 is installed at the front end section of the second arm 15, and the shaft 17 is inserted into the guide hole section 19 rotatably and movably. When the door D is turned from the open position to the releasing position, the second arm 15 is revolved by an angleβin the opposite direction of the arrow Y, and the shaft 17 reaches the communicating section 19a of the first and second hole sections 19A, 19B.
