PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective bag for the head of an automobile occupant, the lower part of which is strained when the bag is inflated, a protective device and an automobile which are equipped with the protective bag. SOLUTION: A protective bag 1 is formed by overlapping a room is side sheet 2 onto a window side sheet 3 to connect the sheets 2, 3 linearly, and then forming a main air way 7 and small chambers 8a, 8b between both the sheets 2, 3. The bag 1 is installed in state where the front part is folded along an A pillar of an automobile, and it is installed in a state where a part from the middle part to the rear part is folded along a roof side rail and a C pillar. The length from a hole 5 of the lowermost projected piece 4 (4F) of the front side part 1F of the bag 1 which is inflated up to a maximum under condition where it is not installed to the automobile to a hole 5 of the lowermost projected piece 4 (4R) of the rear side part 1R, is smaller than the linear distance from a fixed part of the projected piece 4F at the A pillar up to the fixed part of the projected piece 4 at the C pillar. |
