PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an egg container for business use which can transfer a large number of eggs in a low-profile stacked condition, and store the eggs in a refrigerator or the like in a place for serving foods and beverages. SOLUTION: In the egg container, at least one of container bodies A1, A2 and A3 and one lid body to be interchangeably covered thereon are vacuum- formed out of a transparent or translucent plastic sheet into a substantially square contour of the same size in plan view. When the lid is covered, only a part of plurality of intermediate partition projecting walls 9a and 9b on the container body side and the lid body side are fitted to each other. When the container bodies are assembled with each other in a stacked condition with their directions alternately changed by 90 deg., only a part of a plurality of egg storage recesses 6a on the upper stage side and intermediate partition projecting walls 9a on the lower stage side are fitted each other. |
