METHOD FOR PREPARING CANDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a wick almost perpendicular and permit effective use of fragrance in a process of preparing a decorative candle. SOLUTION: A candle comprises a container (32) and a candle core (38) held in the container. The candle core (38) is sized so that a cavity (39) is formed between the candle core and the inner surface of the container when it is held in the container (32). A bore (40) for accommodating a wick (50) of the candle is formed in the candle core. In preparing a candle, a molten wax material is poured into the cavity (39) around the candle core held in the container and the bore (40) to form a layer (54) around the candle core. At least one gelatinous component (58) is placed on the layer (54) and can be fixed by pouring the top layer (60) of the molten wax material.
