PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for temporary bridges and piers which is excellent in workability and safety and is capable of long distance construction work at a time and at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the method to construct temporary bridges and piers, three processes are repeated; a process to support the tip side of at least two beams by a temporary pile overhanging in the construction direction from an existing stage, a process to construct a stage by driving columns for a temporary bridge and a temporary pier and constructing the upper sections of the existing stage from the top sections of the beams and a process to support the temporary pile with the beam fed forward to be overhung in the construction direction from the existing stage constructed in the previous process.
