PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film cassette at low cost with better quality in appearance, capable selectively showing display contents in manufacture and preventing the winding looseness of a film, and to provide its manufacture. SOLUTION: A case 11 storing a thermal transfer film and having a first and second display portions 11a, 11b is molded by a die having a nesting corresponding to the first and second display portions 11a, 11b. If required, the nesting is exchanged and the display contents of the first and second display portions 11a, 11b are changed in manufacture. A label 13 with a manufacturing lot displayed on the surface is used to fix the case 11 to a driving connection shaft 12 with an adhesive portion of the label 13 in a relatively unmovable manner to prevent the winding looseness of the film during transportation.
