SCRAPER TYPE BELT CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraper type cleaner that is efficient in scraping work or that is improved in the close contact of its cleaner edge portions with a belt conveyor and is protected against an accumulation of such deposits as ore on its cleaner edge faces in scraping work. SOLUTION: The scraper type cleaner for a belt conveyor presses its scrapers against the belt surface of the belt conveyor to remove deposits therefrom. The scrapers having an edge at the point are arranged in an oblique relation to the direction of belt travel. A snap pulley and a pressure roller are disposed upstream and downstream of the scrapers.
