PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating blackboard device capable of being smoothly elevated even in the case of a large-sized elevating blackboard. SOLUTION: A lengsized hollow rotational shaft 5 which laterally extends in a long length is rotatably supported to a support frame 2. A motor M is contained in one end side hollow part 6 of the shaft 5. A body 7 of the motor M is fixed to the shaft 5. A motor shaft 8 is fixed to the frame 2. A winding drum 9 is provided at a suitable interval in a longitudinal direction of the shaft 5. A winding belt 10 fixed at its one end 10a to the drum 9 and at the other end 10b to the lower beam 11 of an elevating frame 3 is interposed between the drum 9 and the frame 3.
