PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant vibration-proofing device which can cope with damping of vibrations generated by operation of equipment and prevention of vibrations at the time of an earthquake without a diagonal support member if a distance between the equipment installed on a ceiling and a ceiling upper floor is short. SOLUTION: The earthquake resistant vibration-proofing device includes a mobile portion 3 which supports equipment installed on a ceiling and is vertically movable for damping vibrations generated by operation of the equipment, and a fixed portion 2 which receives the load of the mobile portion 3 and is rigidly supported by a floor or the like. A cushioning material 11 is arranged in a horizontal interval between the mobile portion 3 and the fixed portion 2, whereby the installed equipment can be prevented from rolling when an earthquake occurs. |
