PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink for ink-jet, having good hue and capable of forming images excellent in photo-fastness. SOLUTION: This ink for ink-jet is characterized by including an azomethine compound of the general formula (I) [R1, R3 and R4 are each H or a (substituted) alkyl or aryl; R2 is H, a halogen, a (substituted) alkyl or aryl or the like; Za, Zb and Zc are each N or C(R5)= (R5 is H or a nonmetalic substituent); L is a single bond or a divalent bond; R6 is a substituent having discolor depressor effect; at least one of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 has a carboxyl group or a slufo group]. |
