PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin tool fitting device for a robot hand capable of surely connecting a tool adapter and a fitting unit so as not to cause an inclination of the axis and falling of a tool and excellent in connecting accuracy and safety. SOLUTION: Plural connecting members 11 are arranged in a tool adapter 1 for fitting a tool, the fitting unit 2 installed on the robot hand is provided with plural connecting jaw members 26 for engaging/disengaging an inclined face 33a with/from the connecting members 11 by a radial directional deviation, a rod 20 extending/contracting by the action of air pressure and a cam type converting mechanism 28 for converting extending/contracting operation of the rod 20 into deviative operation of the jaw members 26, and the jaw members 26 are provided with stopper parts 33b for preventing falling of the tool when the connecting members 11 slip out of the inclined face 33a when the air pressure reduces. |
