PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of easily imparting a desired torque to a steering member with a simple constitution without unevenness in a steer-by-wire system or an automatic steering system. SOLUTION: A steering angle is changed depending on the rotary operation amount of a rotary operation member. A moving member 39 which is thread- fitted to a shaft 10 rotating linking with the rotation of the operation member is allowed to move in the axial direction of the shaft 10 toward a body side, and a relative rotation about the axis thereof is prevented. A first magnetism generating source 41 provided movably together with the moving member 39, and a second magnetism generating source 42 provided at the body side generate magnetism actuating at least either of a repulsive force or an attractive force to each other. Either of the repulsive force or the attractive force acts in the moving direction of the moving member 39, thereby imparting a torque to the operation member.
