PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer which has excellent flexibil ity, excellent processability, excellent pellet handleability, excellent especially extrusion processability and excellent calender processability, and does not bleed out low mol.wt. components. SOLUTION: This ethylene-α-olefin copolymer satisfies the following conditions (a) to (h). (a) Anα-olefin content of 20 to 40 wt.%; (b) a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4100 deg.C) of 15 to 70; (c) a Q value (weight-average molecular chain length/number average molecular chain length) of >=4 by GPC measurement; (d) a bimodal mol.wt. distribution; (e) the ratio of the height of a high mol.wt. peak in a mol.wt. distribution curve to the height of a low mol.wt. peak is 2.0 to 7.0; (f) the area of a low mol.wt. portion having chain lengths of <=100Åis <=3% in the mol.wt. distribution curve, (g) a tensile stress M100 of <=2.5 MPa, and (h) the melting heat quantity of crystals in a range of 50 to 100 deg.C is >=5 mJ/mg, when measured by a differential scanning calorie meter.
