PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure combustion of a subsequent and following cycle even when a misfire occurs, in a cycle right after re-starting of injection. SOLUTION: An operation condition of an engine consisting of the number of revolutions and a load is inputted and regulation is executed such that the pulse width and the injection time of an injector are adjusted to respective values preset by an ECU, and a fuel amount corresponding to the operation condition is fed. In a so formed fuel injection device for a two-cycle engine, a region where incorrect combustion is easy to occur is assigned. When it is detected that the engine is operated in the region, a cycle where combustion is brought into a rest state at an unequal distance is provided and a cycle where injection is effected two times or more when injection is restarted from the injection is restarted from the rest state is provided.
