PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical capsulated endoscope having good productivity regarding assembly and being miniaturized. SOLUTION: The capsulated endoscope, in which an internal image formed by an objective lens under the illumination of an illuminating body is focused on an image sensor and an image signal produced by the image sensor is radio transmitted, includes: an objective lens barrel for supporting the objective lens; and a main block having a lens holding tube for holding the objective lens barrel, an illuminating body supporting plate part being approximately perpendicular to the lens holding tube for supporting the illuminating body, and a cylindrical body for holding the image sensor.
